Led the migration of Finance reporting. Static exports became interactive historical analysis, so Finance can validate trends and follow performance over time instead of comparing screenshots.

I own Power BI reporting from business request to production. Ambiguous questions in, clear KPIs, semantic models and dashboards out — used daily by 300–400 people across Operations, Business and Finance.
Six things from the current role that changed how people work with numbers — including the one that didn't make it to production.
Led the migration of Finance reporting. Static exports became interactive historical analysis, so Finance can validate trends and follow performance over time instead of comparing screenshots.
Star-schema models built with SQL, Power Query and DAX time intelligence (YTD / YoY / LY) on Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse — so the same KPI means the same thing in every report.
Row-Level Security, scheduled refreshes and standardised practices in Power BI Service; performance handled with SQL pre-aggregation, Tabular Editor and Bravo.
Proposed and helped introduce Agile sprint planning inside the data team, and built the dashboard management now uses to prioritise backlog items during planning.
Delivered the requirements document for a feature on the group's internal AI platform: scope with MoSCoW, risks and functional modelling. Legal's compliance review deprioritised the feature; the platform itself went to production.
Moved into data on my own initiative: evening Business Analysis course, contributions to an internal data initiative, then a full move into the reporting role.
Grouped the way a model is: what builds it, what feeds it, what keeps it fast, and how the work gets agreed on.
// same definition, every report Revenue YTD = CALCULATE ( [Revenue], DATESYTD ( 'Date'[Date] ) ) Revenue YoY % = DIVIDE ( [Revenue] - [Revenue LY], [Revenue LY] )

Built a program that detects and counts objects from video input, then extended it into a self-driving-car simulation that follows the road and avoids obstacles in real time.
Trained a classifier on a labelled animal dataset to decide whether an image contains an animal, using a train/test split to evaluate accuracy.
Straight with stakeholders about scope and trade-offs, calm when a report breaks the morning of a board meeting, and happiest when a messy question turns into a KPI everyone agrees on.
